Regina King's Dramatic Gown at the NAACP Image Awards Is Even Better From the Back
Though we have yet to get another glimpse of Regina King's iconic dog Cornbread since the Golden Globes last month, the actress and director stole the show all on her own at the 2021 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday night. Regina, who's nominated for entertainer of the year and outstanding director for her directorial debut in One Night in Miami, brought on the drama in a custom Oscar de la Renta gown in a gorgeous copper color.
While the taffeta dress was undoubtedly a beaut from the front - can we talk about that amazing statement train? - the giant bow in the back wins the (virtual) red carpet for us. With the help of stylists Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, Regina kept the rest of her look quite simple, with jewelry by Irene Neuwirth and sparkly brown heels from Stuart Weitzman. Get a closer look at her stunning ensemble ahead.
