Photo Vogue Festival 2020 podcast: All in This Together

“All in this together” is an exhibition curated by Alessia Glaviano and Francesca Marani for Photo Vogue Festival 2020.

A showcase of work by 30 photographers that collectively create a hymn to love and hope, a sense of community, and of solidarity and empathy. The theme for this open call exhibition was conceived following the universal experience of the impacts of Covid-19 spreading beyond borders and barriers.

When normality crumbled, art and its fleeting and extemporaneous nature became a gift. Its distribution and sharing built and trans-formed interpersonal relations, distracted people from their isolation to allowed them to meet again in a space where loneliness was replaced by the Communitas, a strong feeling of solidarity and togetherness.

This exhibition features 30 photographers selected through the scouting initiative launched on PhotoVogue, the photographic platform of Vogue.it. The works have been selected by an internationally jury consisting of experts from across the world, with different backgrounds and vision so as to try to provide the most inclusive and multifaceted perspective.

The exhibition will be visible online on the dedicated digital platform from 19 to 22 November 2020. Excerpts of the exhibitions of Photo Vogue Festival 2020 will also be displayed outdoors from October 30th until November 22nd, in the Giardini di Porta Venezia in Milan, to allow the community to interact with the works.

Plus, the exhibition will be visible in central points of the city of Milan on the Maxi Led Urban Vision, during the same period.
