Vogue Talents x FAD Scouting for India 3 • Photography

The third edition of "Scouting For India" is opening up to the world of photography.

The global project developed by Vogue Talents in collaboration with FAD International Academy & FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion & Style, aimed at scouting and promoting talented Indian designers, continues this year with a new initiative focused not only on fashion but also on photography.

UNTIL 28th FEBRUARY, photographers of Indian nationality, residing in India or elsewhere in the world, can have their work viewed by Vogue Italia’s photo editors: Alessia Glaviano, Brand Visual Director and Director of PhotoVogue, and Francesca Marani, photo editor and curator of the PhotoVogue platform, which counts over 183,000 users from across the world.

In order to participate, send an e-mail to SCOUTINGFORINDIA@CONDENAST.IT containing these materials:

• a biography (listing age and place of residence), website/IG account, e-mail address;
• a photographic project (of any genre: it can be a personal project, a fashion spread, a documentary essay, a long-term series on a specific topic…) accompanied by a description/statement by the author.

The best photographers selected through this scouting initiative will have the opportunity to showcase their photographs in India as part of a special event hosted by Vogue Italia in collaboration with FAD. It will be a uniquely enriching opportunity both for the participating artists, who can show and share their work, and for the photo editors of Vogue Italia, who will be able to familiarize with the latest developments of the contemporary photographic practice in India, in line with the initiatives promoted up to now through Photo Vogue Festival.

During the Indian event some of the creatives will also have the chance to meet with Sara Sozzani Maino for a special PORTFOLIO REVIEW, while emerging photographers will have the opportunity to showcase their work to Vogue Italia photo editor Francesca Marani.
