Megan Thee Stallion Goes From a Sheer Corset Dress to Cutout Cargo Pants on "SNL"
Megan Thee Stallion graced our TV screens with her second appearance on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend, playing not only host of the evening, but also musical guest. While that meant many laugh-out-loud sketches, killer musical performances, and an entertaining opening monologue, her segments were not without a plethora of wardrobe changes, styled by Image Architect Law Roach.
Megan Thee Stallion, 27, is known for bold looks that reveal skin, and her "SNL" outfits fell right in line. The world got a teaser of what was in store during her promo of the big night when she showcased her sheer catsuit on Instagram the Friday before. This set the stage for the opening monologue, during which she wore a see-through black mesh minidress in a long-sleeved turtleneck silhouette, framed by a corseted bustier top. A black bra peeked out from under the top layer, and the rapper finished the look with silver jewelry.
Megan also performed two songs during the show. Looking like a true old-fashioned beauty queen during "Anxiety," she wore a glitter-covered red strapless gown with a mermaid hem and a white sash across her chest that read, "Miss Anxiety." For her performance of "NDA" and "Plan B," Megan chose a full denim set consisting of a balconette-style tank and baggy, deconstructed cargo pants equipped with cutouts at both thighs to display fishnet tights. The ensemble was finished with a jean jacket worn off the shoulders, a diamond-encrusted chainlink choker necklace, and dark shield sunglasses.
Immediately following the taping, Megan's Los Angeles home was broken into, and the performer took to Twitter, writing, "Hotties im really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break I'm so tired, physically and emotionally." Later, she tweeted again, "Material things can be replaced but I'm glad everyone is safe 💙🙏🏾."
