Chloë Welcomes Spooky Season in a Micro Minidress and Fishnets
Chloë is welcoming spooky season with open arms. On Oct. 19, the "Treat Me" singer shared an Instagram carousel showing off her latest #OOTD: a black velvet micro minidress featuring dramatic sleeves that puffed out at the shoulders and cinched in around the forearms. She struck several poses to show off other design elements of the dress, including a mock neck and short ruffle-adorned hemline that wrapped all the way around the bottom. The Grammy nominee captioned the photos, "class is in session 🍎," which is perhaps referencing her teaching us all how to dress for fall.
With input from stylist by Shaojun Chen, Chloë finished the look with a pair of fishnet tights, black patent-leather platform heels, clustered pearl earrings, three silver chain necklaces, two diamond rings, and a rhinestone-embellished manicure.
Velvet seems to be a go-to fabric for the former "Grown-ish" star. Her cutout hip-chain dress at the 2021 American Music Awards was made of the plush material, as was her purple beaded gown at the 2022 Oscars, which she attended with sister Halle.
Chloë's velvet minidress is a departure from the many performance outfits she's rotated through the past few months. A few weekends back, she took the stage at One MusicFest in Atlanta wearing a silver cutout bodysuit held together by chains, and in late September, she wore a blue cutout bodysuit covered in rhinestones to sing at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
