This $48 Dress Is So Good, I'm Not Even Embarrassed I Wore It 3 Times in a Week

I'm going to make an assumption: when you buy a new piece clothing, it's with the intention to wear it more than once. Save for occasionwear you're purchasing specifically for a wedding, birthday, or special event, I think it's safe to assume that when you buy something new, the idea is to get a lot of wear out of the item (and to be clear, I'm all about re-wearing special occasion pieces from jumpsuits to dresses).

As a self-proclaimed "outfit repeater", I routinely wear things multiple times a week whether it's repeating the exact same outfit more than once in seven days or styling a single item differently for various events. Yes, I'm careful to wear a repeat look in front of different people (if I wore an outfit to work, I might wear it again to dinner with friends, and so forth), but out of sheer laziness, I tend to lean on formulas I love rather than spin my wheels re-thinking entirely different looks. Instead, I love the challenge of making a single item feel new by way of fresh styling, which is exactly what I set out to do with this POPSUGAR Printed Midi Dress ($48, originally $64).

From the moment I set eyes on this dress, I knew it was my perfect day-to-night style: the classic shirtdress silhouette reads smart with a poppy floral print that brings a playful element to the look. Cut in a midi length with buttons and a self-tie belt that cinches in perfectly at the waist, it's ultra-flattering but also super comfortable as the fabric is really soft and lightweight. In other words, it's the perfect Summer dress that you can dress up or down, so I did (three times in one week and no, I'm not embarrassed about it).

Ahead, see how I wore this POPSUGAR Printed Midi Dress to work, out to dinner, and on a weekend day full of activities. Then, shop each of my looks which feature Summer's biggest accessory trends like barely-there strappy sandals, seashell jewelry, woven handbags, and more.
