"The Great"'s Elle Fanning, who works with stylist Samantha McMillen, explained to E! that her custom Sharon Long creation was an ode to the '50s. The column gown was affixed to a long train with a baby pink satin interior and featured a strapless, sweetheart neckline bursting with dainty floral appliqués at the bust. Her retro-inspired look was completed with vintage-esque, silver jewels and a pin-up hairstyle, which further underscored the throwback vibes to Old Hollywood.
The show was hosted by "SNL"'s Kenan Thompson and featured presenters such as Ariana DeBose, Selena Gomez, RuPaul, Lizzo, and Kerry Washington - whose white Elie Saab dress and tights were a clear homage to the '80s.
